From Chateau KittyCat
There were happy days . . .
But we lost our littlest angel.
Feisty from the first
She had Ollie from the start
And quickly conquered Mt. Vinnie
Izzy always loved the outdoors
She was happy with her family
She thrived.
Then the losses began . . . Uncle Vinnie
And Ollie, beloved of us all.
Then the boys filled ALL the empty spaces.
But still more loss to adjust to
And someone(?) even mashed her ear!
But she remained, always, our little love.
Merry Christmas, Kristen!
I love seeing all these photos of warm and sunny California. How I wish I had citrus trees, but they do not work in N Idaho. I do have a 6 year old lemon tree I grew from a store bought lemon that has survived moving in sub-zero temperatures. I thought it was a goner, but after cutting it back to a small stick and waiting for springtime it came roaring back to its 4 foot frame in a year.
I began a blank slate garden this year, with the base of 4 sugar maples and 6 paper birches going in, followed by bee friendly flowering bushes. In the springtime the concrete walkways and grass go in. (We don’t have your water issues.) Your friends and cats all look happy and contented!
Kristen love you so much ! Bob is nice too! Lol. Sorry for your loss! Is that the kitty who brought you the squirrel ? Love your blog! Steph and the Shih Tzu gang.
